fuck i hate live messenger 9DON'T INSTALL IT. unless you already have it and you're damn lucky you didn't turn out like i did. ok i had downloaded the 24mb version apparently that's not enough. 24mb is a huge amount for a messenger IN MY HUMBLE OPINION.
if you don't think that's huge; consider a 134mb offline installer for live messenger 9. fuck me - Microsoft try their very best to fuck you up the ass every time don't they? by adding programs no one remotely gives a shit about? shit, i did download it. DUMBEST THING EVER even considering msn9 looks shiny and non-threatening in most ways, it can even change main colour themes - NICE AND PRETTY.
WASTE OF HUEG BANDWIDTH COULD HAVE BEEN USED ON BROWSING AND PORN!
through that, installed it. it's extremely slow to set up, and there is no "Deselect-all-and-select-one-option" path. completely stupid programs like Mail, a live toolbar (toolbars slow down your damn system, they look ugly on browsers and they're generally useless altogether unless... you're a toolbar ho) a blog program?, and i don't remember what other shit they offered because it wasn't even that important.
the installation goes to a 84% and freezes. freezes. freezes. i have to quit because i have no choice, it bitches out and BlueScreens my computer. OH WINDOWS 98 YOU CRAFT THING SNEAKING INTO MY VISTA.
i'm still being patient at that moment (what the hell?) and load up again. over the course of this ordeal i've tried to re-install live8.5 again, it gives "You've got a later version, fuck off and uninstall the newest one to install this shit" OK. I DID. I TRIED. doesn't appear in add/remove programs. i have to use Google's retarded cousin Yahoo to search up things because i must have a virus that's dicking with my internet's ability to use google. WHAT >:I. my loyalty lies with google and i have no idea what's going on there.
i search up how to remove it. i do. i find them just over 3 hours searching and the other getting angry at other things. tl;dr, third party program called "wopti" or something. works, removes, rejoice. i lose over 3gb of space on my hard-drive over the duration of this endeavour; god knows why.
silly me - i double-layer with the installs just to attempt again (reinstall 8.5 then installing 9 over it), connect to the internet one more time, sign in.
GUESS WHAT?
IT DIDN'T WORK!

so all of my effort went for nothing. i admit defeat, and uninstall with thirdparty programs.
lost 6 hours of my life :/
on a nice note i got my laptop keyboard replaced
my "V" key didn't work (so i had trouble spelling bad words. does 'agina' look complete to you? :I) and my space bar had some cancerous issues - FIXED!
